Have you watched a wide screen movie on a wide screen laptop computer?

If it is good quality, I wonder why portable DVD players only come in about 10 inch screen or less?
I hate the thought of paying a few hundred dollars for a wide screen laptop only because I want a larger portable DVD player to carry around on trips.
