if I bought a usb port type tv tuner, and also a portable dvd with, a usb port, could I use the two together ?

Im trying to keep from spending over 300 dollars, for a portable dvd, w/tv tuner. If I can piece it like a stereo, or computer, it will be a lot cheaper than buying a p/dvd player,
w/a tv tuner, vs p/dvd w/a usb port, and usb tuner

   The minute you find a portable DVD player with a USB port you let me know and I will buy one because as far as I know they don’t exist. How you want to do this is totally going to depend on how and where you are going to be watching it. Also USB tuners require special drivers and software so even if you found a dvd player with a USB port you are not likely going to be able to install the tuner’s software.
