ian People always argue over which system is better. I’ve seen articles about the two, and they usually say that the Xbox 360 is better, but the PS3 has more potential.
The Xbox 360 is easier to design games for, and it had pretty good graphics. The PS3 usually has better contrast, but lower-resolution textures or smaller draw distances. There are also more bugs and glitches… No one really uses the 50GB Blu-Ray disk to its full potential. There’s Metal Gear Solid 4, and some other PS3 exclusives, but over 80% of the games for the PS3 can pretty much fit into a DVD.
The PS3 has better specs, but if you just look at the numbers, then that must mean the Gamecube and Xbox are better than a PS2, which isn’t really true.

Good Graphics
Better Exclusive Games (but that’s just an opinion)
Cheaper
Bigger Hard Drive
Better Online Stuff (Xbox Live is known to be > PSN)
Less Bugs/Glitches
Can Play AND Charge Controllers
Usually Voted For Better-Feeling Controller
PS3: Pros
Free Online Multiplayer (but $4 a month isn’t that big of a deal…)
Better Controller for Fighting Games
Good Contrast (stuff ain’t pitch-black at times)
UP TO 7 CONTROLLERS CONNECTED AT ONCE (but the use of this isn’t very clear)
Blu-Ray Media Player
Can Connect to PSP (Microsoft doesn’t even have a portable console)
Quiet
Xbox 360: Cons
WTF is with the Super-Contrast???
Large Population of Kids/Teens (I’m a [proud?] member of this group)
RRoD (I’ve heard there is a 33% chance of your 360 to PHAIL! But I also heard there’s a new Falcon chipset that has a smaller chance to overheat)

Can’t recharge controller AND play at the same time (but I just heard this. No real research on the PS3)

Can someone explain to me why fanboys insist that their system is better, but usually don’t have anything to back it up with?
Or, answer to me with this wealth of info about which system is better, and will be better in the next 2 years. (People are still learning how to design for the PS3)

i say ps3. they are both great systems. the xbox seems to break down so often though, and personally i love final fantasy and kingdom hearts, as well as metal gear solid and killzone. ff 13 ftw =]. can’t wait.
It all depends on what you like best. I, personally, looked at the PS3 and laughed. I got my Xbox360 3 weeks ago and love it. The contrast is something that bothers at times but the Xbox360 makes up for it with way better Live.
Also, I have to put in, the thing everyone complains about(Red ring of fire) has never happened to me and i have left the Xbox on for 10 hours straight just to check it out. I think they have improved the new Xbox360 so it doesn’t do that anymore.
I’ve got an Xbox and Wii, and I love them. I’m a fairly hardcore gamer and I would exhaust the PS3′s library rapidly.
The PS3 is still too expensive for what it is, and it is still very short on games.
I don’t think it’ll improve in 2 years, I think it’ll be about the same.
Fanboys are blind. They just defend their system of choice without many facts, or minimal ones.
I respect the PS3. It will have God of War 3, it has Valkyria Chronicles, and it has Ratchet and Clank.
As I said, I just play games too rapidly to stick with the PS3′s small library.
Xbox 360 IS better than PS3

PSN is terrible, Xbox live is where Xbox shines…
Xbox has Halo, Gears, and L4D
PS3 has MGS4, KZ2, and LBP
I think everyone can agree that Live is better than psn(Little kids do shut up after I have a few words with them)
I have never gotten the RRoD since 360′s launch (I play all day after school)
The only thing that PS3 has over 360 is Blu-Ray for a reasonable price
But I do expect PS3 to surpass the 360 by 2011…but by then the next Xbox will most likely have AT LEAST a release date…
360 = shooters and live
PS3 = Family games and Blu-Ray
All right everyone gives the PS3 shit about COST. but here’s something to think about. U have rechargeable controllers and free inter net with ps3 u can surf the web.
360 you need
Batteries and Xbox live
or if you buy the rechargeable thing those cost out the but
BIG malfunction for red ring and not everyone’s gets fixed and if u get a system u don’t want one that u no has a good chance of dying.
But basically what I’m trying to get at with this is if u Get all the accessories that the x box360 needs to equal a ps3 then u get about the same cost if not more. so that the money thing out of the way.
i have a 360 and i prefer a ps3.
i prefer sony controllers just because i had a ps2 and the back buttons make sense R(right) 1 2.L(left) 1 2 instead of R and right trigger l left trigger. and the joysticks for PS r in one spot .one thing ill give to the 360 is they have wired controllers so u wont lose them. and with recharging controller on ps3 u just need a long usb cord if u cant wait to play it
games i say it depend on What the consumer likes.
