Panasonic DMB-P15, first portable Blu-ray player


8.9-inch LCD, 3 hours of battery life, and can be connected to an HDTV via HDMI to act as a standalone player as well. Supports Viera Cast for internet media from Amazon, Picasa, YouTube and other content partners. A rep told us it would be available “in the next couple of months” for an undisclosed price point.

    yes, the sony OLED tv is a beautiful piece of hardware, but at over two grand wayyyy out of my price range. guess we have a while to wait.
    i was one of the first people to buy a 5 inch portable dvd player, paid 1600 for it, now they sell for 100. wont make that mistake again, lol

    Actually at the Sony store there is a 10 inch 1080p television and it looks great so I’m thinking it is possible.

    a screen that size could not possibly be high def, so you wont get the benefit of blue ray unless you hook it to a tv? waste of a screen if thats true
